Excellent Quality5
I know it may seem like all socks are made the same, but these really seem considerably better than any other I have worn. In fact, I wash and wear these more than any others I have and I am looking to re-order again. I suppose that speaks for itself.

Everyday Anklets.5
When I first started running, a couple friends took me to a running-shoe store and helped select a pair of Nike running shoes to suit my needs. At first, I just wore a standard pair of mid-calf athletic socks with them, but it wasn’t long before I noted that most other runners were wearing anklets. So, I went back and got a couple pairs of anklets and I could easily see why; the anklets were lighter and more comfortable. Plus, they looked better. Somewhere along the line I started wearing runners’ anklets with my conventional shoes and I liked the anklets much better than the standard mid-calf sock. It looked a little funny wearing white socks, but when I looked around at enough stores I found that anklets came in other colors, notably, grey, blue and black. I opted for the grey and black and I used them for running also but most of the time I ran with whites.

In any case, I’ve been wearing anklets now for a couple decades instead of regular socks. Oh sure, some people probably think it looks a little weird but the anklets are so much more comfortable that I just could never go back to conventional socks except for very limited ultra-dressy occasions. My fiancée has reluctantly gone along with my little eccentricity, but has purged the white anklets from my collection so I can’t go out in public with them on. OK, I can live with it.

The problem then becomes, where do I get enough grey and black anklets in-as-much as they are not nearly as common as the white variety. It takes a bit of looking and when I find them, I buy (usually in three-packs). There are at least a half-dozen brands but Nike or Adidas are my favorites. These brands probably cost a bit more than others, but when prorated throughout their life, it probably costs no more than a penny extra per wearing. I like wearing anklets. They’re comfortable, long lasting and nice looking. Who cares what anyone else might think about it?

Nice and Comfortable4
I love this low cut for being nice, comfortable and practical. Most of the socks I have were worn out after few sessions on treadmill and scarring my ankle. These low cuts solved my problems.

It seems to be holding well going into washing machine every other day.

Great for walkers and runners5
I am training for a 20 mile walk and these socks have been a godsend. The cushioning and support make your feet feel like they are truly protected. I happened to be out of clean ones, and used regular socks for one of my training sessions, and boy did I pay for it. I had blisters the size of quarters. Never again will I train without these. I highly recommend them.

The perfect sock?5
I just may have completed my lifelong search for the perfect sock. I’m on my feet most of the day and at age 47 I’m still playing soccer a couple times a week. My staple sock for 20 years has been a cushioned cotton crew. The bottoms of my feet seem to get sore too easily of late and I always reach for the newest pair of socks in my drawer with the best cushioning. I saw these socks at Dicks and thought I’d give them a shot hoping that they would keep my feet cooler. I have never worn low cut socks but when I tried these I fell in love. The Climalite is amazing and when paired with the cushioned sole these socks put my feet in Nirvana. I have found them to hold up very well with the cushioning, as expected, decreasing over many washes. I wore 6 pairs constantly this summer for about 4 months with no rips or tears. I will hang onto them until the cushion is shot. They are expensive no matter where you buy them but the all day comfort of my feet is well worth it. Highly recommended :)
