Same product name, but different product
I’ve bought Gold Toe’s “Fluffy” socks a number of times over the years. The current product has apparently been redesigned so that the leg portion is a bit softer, and the elastic cord at the top (to keep the sock from falling down) is a bit tougher. While the new socks feel about as comfortable as the earlier version, the cord leaves a deep groove in my leg that takes a good hour or more to go away. I’d happily go back to the earlier version if it were still available on this basis alone. In terms of wear, I don’t have enough usage to see if the newer, softer material will wear out faster than the earlier version. I tend to wear through the material at the sole of the foot pretty quickly, so I’ll be keeping an eye on the new softer-than-ever fluffies.

Fluffies
Still the best socks around. The standard “old reliable” white fluffies are now hard to find in stores! I have worn them at least 20 years, and they are comfortable and last a long time.

Terrific high-quality everyday socks
I received two pairs of the Gold Toe Comfort Crew athletic socks for the holidays and they are terrific. The material is very solid, high-quality ribbed with some stretch. The tube of the sock is versatile, and can be cuffed, slouched, or pulled up. They don’t fall if worn completely pulled up. While they’re high quality they’re not so thick that they affect the fit of your shoes. They wash well and are perfect for everyday wear.

Washable, long lasting socks
I became a fan of Gold Toe socks about 8 years ago and this style is my favorite (I prefer a thick sock – note this is slightly thinner than an athletic sock and much thicker than a trouser/dress sock.)

Best Women’s Socks For Your Money
I purchased 3 pairs of these socks for my niece, who recently grew to a shoe size of 9. Gold Toe socks I knew from past purcases as an excellent quality sock – softness, wears well, launders well, and lasts longer than others on the market. The special point: these socks are all white. Most women’s white athletic socks have a pink toe. My niece didn’t want pink socks. I will buy more of these socks in future as Christmas & Birthday gifts for my niece.

Yeh, these are really great socks… but what’s up with James? If new socks changed my life, hey I need to get a little something goin’ on. Back to the socks…my favorite, in black, low cut, workin’ out or hangin’ out.

Comfortable Ninja
These socks make me feel like I’m walking on marshmallows. They could have a bit of a snugger fit, but that has to do with the size of my foot – not the sock’s fault. Overall, socks are wonderful. They allow me to sneak up on houseguests and viciously smash their faces with watermelon seeds, of which I live for. Anyway, A+++ product! A+++mazon, as always! Will buy again! Hokay, goodnight.
