Nice comfortable socks that don’t squeeze my feet like most regular width socks do. They are a little thinner that I thought they would be from the description, just a little thicker than a typical liner sock, but perfect for warm weather. They air dry quickly after taking them off for a break. I am giving them 4 stars because durability isn’t as good as I hoped with wear holes in the heels after just a few weeks.

they’re light enough that your feet maintain their cool. The don’t slide past your ankles which is the best bonus. New Balance produces a nice product, always.

High quality base sock
My use for these generally well made socks is to wear them under a longer polypropylene running sock for maximum warmth in winter and for maximum comfort. I’d say they fit the bill and are very comfortable. Recommend to buy one size larger that your normal size, but that’s just my experience with these type of socks. They always shrink a little in washing and drying. My only quibble, which I don’t notice except when wearing my sneakers is that where the red toe area is joined to the two other types of material at the side, there is a bunch up of material that could irritate the toe at times. Wearing these with my larger and more comfortable shoes I don’t have the problem with their design of a bigger area for the toe. I may buy some more.
